- Screen. Mirror + CP-12 for a quick PSR; explorer for caries and calculus.
- Scale. Mini sickle supragingival; Mini McCall for light subgingival deposits. Sickle or curette? When to use each.
- Escalate when needed. Pockets ≥ 4 mm with subgingival calculus call for the area-specific Graceys in the Basic Perio Kit.
- Reprocess. One cassette to the ultrasonic and autoclave — ready for the next recall.
