Plugger (1.0mm-1.3mm)

The ErgoSlip Plugger 1.0mm-1.3mm features small-diameter tips perfect for condensing composite in narrow cavities and tight spaces. These fine plugger ends provide precise condensing pressure in areas where larger instruments cannot reach.

Ideal for: Small cavities, narrow preparations, condensing composite in tight interproximal areas, and detailed work requiring fine-tipped instruments.

The ErgoSlip non-stick coating on these small plugger tips prevents composite adhesion that would otherwise increase the effective tip size and reduce access in confined spaces.

Ergonomic Handle Options

The Plugger (1.0mm-1.3mm) is available with three ergonomic handle types, designed to reduce hand fatigue and improve precision during restorative procedures:

  • ErgoSteel Plus: Classic stainless steel design with extra grip for optimal control.
  • ErgoX: Soft silicone grip (11.5 mm) for enhanced comfort during extended procedures.
  • ErgoX Plus: Thicker silicone grip (13.7 mm) for maximum control and comfort.

Reprocessing Instructions

Important: ErgoDenta instruments are supplied NON-STERILE and must be cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized before first use and after each subsequent use.

Automated Cleaning
Washer-disinfector: pre-rinse cold, enzymatic wash 55°C/10 min, thermal disinfect 90°C/5 min, dry.
Step 3
Inspect & Maintain
Check for residual soil, corrosion, or damage. Lubricate hinged instruments with medical-grade lubricant.
Step 4
Package
Place in ISO 11607-compliant sterilization pouches or wraps. Arrange to prevent tip contact. Seal properly.
Step 5
