What are ErgoRazor® Tips?
ErgoRazor® Tips are replaceable periodontal working ends for the ErgoTip™ system. Instead of replacing the complete instrument, clinicians can replace only the tip while keeping their preferred handle.
The range includes Gracey curettes, Mini Gracey curettes and sickle scalers in stainless, gold and black finishes — all designed for daily periodontal care.
Why 440C steel matters
Periodontal tips need a fine, sharp working edge that can handle repeated use, cleaning, and sterilisation. ErgoRazor® Tips are made from 440C stainless steel — a high-carbon stainless steel known for hardness, wear resistance, and strong edge retention.
This helps the tip maintain its sharpness longer than many regular stainless steels used in dental instruments, making it well suited for scalers and curettes.

Razor — Natural stainless finish
Made from 440C stainless steel with a classic silver working surface. A strong choice for clinicians who prefer a traditional finish with reliable edge retention.
Razor Gold — Gold-coated finish
Made from 440C stainless steel with a gold-coloured coating. Designed for a smooth working feel, premium appearance, and long-lasting clinical performance.
Razor Black — Low-glare black finish
Made from 440C stainless steel with a black low-glare coating. Helps improve visual contrast and reduce reflection during periodontal work.
