IDS 2027 dates and venue
The 42nd International Dental Show (Internationale Dental-Schau) takes place from Tuesday 16 to Saturday 20 March 2027 at Koelnmesse, Messeplatz 1, 50679 Cologne, Germany. IDS is the world's largest dental trade fair, with more than 2,000 exhibitors and trade visitors from 150+ countries. Tickets, registration and daily opening hours are handled by Koelnmesse on the official IDS website.
Where is ErgoDenta at IDS 2027?
We have moved. At IDS 2025 you found us in Hall 5.1, Booth F-049. For 2027 ErgoDenta exhibits in Hall 10.2, Stand S-060 — a 7 × 4.5 metre stand with open frontage in the instruments section. Follow the signs for Hall 10.2; you will see the hands-on instrument wall from the aisle.
Getting to Koelnmesse
- By train — Köln Messe/Deutz station is directly at the fairground, one stop from Cologne main station (Köln Hbf).
- By air — Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) has a direct rail link to Messe/Deutz; Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is about an hour away by train.
- Hotels — Cologne fills up during IDS. Book early, or look at Bonn, Düsseldorf and Leverkusen, all within easy rail reach.
Should you book a meeting?
The stand is open all five days and you are welcome to walk in and pick up instruments — no appointment needed. If you are a distributor, dealer or private-label buyer, we recommend reserving a 30-minute slot so we have your country's pricing, territory information and documentation (EU-MDR, FDA, UKCA, ISO 13485) ready when you arrive. What to prepare before you come
- Browse the 2026 catalogs and note the article numbers you want to try in your hand.
- Bring your current instrument list if you are comparing suppliers — we will match it line by line.
- Private-label projects: a product list, a sample photo or a sketch is enough to start scoping at the stand.
