ErgoTip is a modular dental instrument system with interchangeable tips and ergonomic handles. It lets dentists and dental hygienists build the exact instrument they prefer for different clinical procedures.

You can choose your favorite handle style, size, and color, then attach the working tip you need — such as explorers, periodontal probes, or curette tips. This smart system helps reduce the number of full instruments you need while still giving you the right tool for every task.

ErgoTip handles are designed for comfort and control, with a secure connection that keeps the tip stable during treatment. When a tip wears out, you simply replace the tip instead of the whole instrument. All parts are fully autoclavable and meet professional sterilization standards.

ErgoTip is ideal for diagnostics, periodontal exams, calculus detection, and scaling — offering a flexible, ergonomic solution for modern dental practices.

The ErgoSteel is a single-ended stainless steel handle from ErgoDenta™’s ErgoTip™ interchangeable system. Made from high-grade stainless steel for maximum durability. The classic Ø8mm diameter delivers a traditional feel. Compatible with all ErgoTip™ screw-on tips. Fully autoclavable.

Reprocessing Instructions

Important: ErgoDenta instruments are supplied NON-STERILE and must be cleaned, disinfected, and sterilized before first use and after each subsequent use.
Step 1
Pre-Cleaning
Rinse under cold running water immediately after use. Remove visible debris with a soft brush. Keep instruments moist until processing.
Step 2
Automated Cleaning
Washer-disinfector: pre-rinse cold, enzymatic wash 55°C/10 min, thermal disinfect 90°C/5 min, dry.
Step 3
Inspect & Maintain
Check for residual soil, corrosion, or damage. Lubricate hinged instruments with medical-grade lubricant.
Step 4
Package
Place in ISO 11607-compliant sterilization pouches or wraps. Arrange to prevent tip contact. Seal properly.
Step 5
Sterilize
Autoclave at 134°C (273°F) for min. 18 minutes, pre-vacuum cycle. Validate with chemical and biological indicators.
Step 6
Store
Store in a clean, dry, enclosed area. Verify packaging integrity before use. Re-sterilize if compromised.
